trashagrams

These are photos I have found that have been discarded in the darkroom trashcan; Usually before they have been fully processed. I choose these prints based off of patterns, colors, and compositions that interest me. I then wash the print to "fix" them, dry them, and scan them.

The abstraction and sometimes non-objective nature of these prints reminded me of the Rorschach test. So the title of each piece is my immediate perception of them.

The name stems from where I found them and the fact that they are essentially unintentional chemigrams. Which is an image is made by painting with chemicals on light-sensitive paper.
